We encourage the faculty members to attend Workshops, Seminars and Conferences, Innovative and modern methods of teaching are used to enable the students to develop awareness, understanding and critical thinking capacities. The faculties of Indira Nursing College enjoy academic freedom in Curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation.

Seminars
Mr. Jestine .T. Jose, Associate Professor and P.G students attended a seminar in March 2009 at A. V. Baliga Memorial Hospital about HIV / AIDS – Counselling Faculties, M.Sc. (N), B.Sc. (N) students attended numerous Seminars, Workshops and Nursing Conferences conducted by Nursing Colleges.

Training Classes
The faculty members are regularly conducting In-service education programmes for the Staff Nurses working in Indira Hospital.

We have in-house staff development programmes in which our faculties present interesting topics every month.
